Steve Jackson Games finds the whole thing bodacious. "Welcome to the future," says Rhea Friesen, the Marketing Director for Steve Jackson Games. Co-designer Randy Scheunemann, stated late Thursday, "No Way!" To which co-designer Samuel Mitschke responded, "Yes Way! It's Bill and Ted's Excellent Boardgame... SAN DIMAS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL RULES!"

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure debuted at the box office in 1989 on a budget of $10M. The film went on to become a smash hit, grossing $40.4M domestically, and launching the career of Keanu Reeves, who played "Ted."
