March 7, 2013: More Amazingly Fun Music
I listen to a lot of music. In a perfect world I would have an infinite supply of music beamed directly into my brain at all times, but instead I live the real world where I have to use an external device to surround me in awesome tunes. Lately I've been playing a lot of:
-
Mario Basanov - Check the official website or jump right in with "Just Think About." I'm pretty sure this is classified as dance, but I drop it into the "makes me happy" category.
-
Eddie C - The "Parts Unknown" album has been getting a lot of play in my office (and my car, and my home, and my iPod, and . . .). Another dance album. Turn your volume to eleven and play "Love Journey" for an idea of just how incredible this album is.
-
Madonna - She needs no introduction and in my book there's no better Madonna album than 1998's "Ray of Light." Working with producer William Orbit (listen to his remix of Peter Gabriel's "Mercy Street" for an idea of what Orbit is capable of), Madonna created a collection of music that's far more impressive than most people realize. Play "Frozen" or "Shanti/Ashangi" and then chase down the album for more great music.
That's just some of what I've been listening to lately. Hopefully you find something here that's new to you.
