June 12, 2006: A Real Dragon For GenConOn May 22, the Children's Museum of Indianapolis unveiled their newest addition to their Dinosphere exhibit: Dracorex hogwartsia.Apparently, the skull of this member of the pachycephalosaur family has an unusually smooth forehead, which, when combined with the long muzzle and spiky horns, give this little guy a distinctively dragonish appearance. The homage to Harry Potter's school was a natural fit.
So, if you're in Indianapolis this summer (say, for GenCon), stop by between 10am and 5pm -- where else are you going to see a real (dead) dragon?
