Our light family fantasy adventure game, Hack & Slash, is now in its second printing, and we're assembling its first expansion – including new quest cards and a new type of card: treasures! April 4, 2022:
Now that the Kickstarter rewards have made it through the warehouse and the Warehouse 23 preorders have shipped, we've opened preorders for a new 24" x 24" Car Wars Sixth Edition playmat at BackerKit. This City Block 1 playmat is the first in what may be a series of playmats, usable either for smaller battles or as part of a larger playscape.
We've run the playmat through the print test and now it is time to determine how many to print . . .

Now that we're entering second (and sometimes third!) printings on a handful of our dice and dice bag designs, it's time to point out the "colors may vary" language we've used with several of the dice and dice bags we've released over the last few years. When working on a reprint, we sometimes tweak the colors – and, at times, actual artwork designs – of the dice and dice bags so that the newer printings bring something fresh to the table . . .

Although international freight prices and times have stabilized a bit, the world is not yet through the pandemic and the complications brought on over the last few years continue to plague game publishers of all sizes. And it's not just international shipping that is problematic; our own GURPS Girl Genius hardcover books took roughly a month to travel from New York to Georgia, a lengthy and aggravating time that would have been unheard of pre-pandemic . . .

Since last month's Indiegogo report, we've delivered the two campaigns that were open at that time, launched and closed the Mystery Box project, and have a new dice set – Pirate d6 Dice Set – now in funding. We're finding that Indiegogo works great for smaller crowdfunding projects, which is especially useful for backers who often ask, "May I back multiple times?" With Indigogo, the answer is yes! . . .
