September 14, 2003: Black Holes Sing BassScientists have determined that black holes sing -- in the case of the one at the center of the Perseus Cluster, it's a continuous B-flat, 57 octaves below middle C. And much like the note at the end of the Beatles' "A Day In The Life," this note seems to go on forever . . . or at least for the past 2.5 billion years or so.
