February 4, 2006: Ken Hite On GURPS Powers

Ken Hite, writer of many, many syllables, has published his list of outstanding gaming releases. His "Outie Awards" have crowned GURPS Powers the second runner up in the category of Best Supplement of 2005.

But from Hite, the placement isn't the important thing -- it's the quote:

[GURPS Powers] could have been deadly tedious mechanical logic-chopping, but is instead a clear-headed and concretely useful "advanced course" in high-level GURPS rules.

When they get around to giving Origins Awards for "Most Quotable," Ken deserves the Lifetime Achievement Award.
